I sit by the ocean to enjoy the creation.
The sunsets are great because of pollution.
The reflection is good because of the oil.
The water’s polluted and so is the soil.
The whole world is run on greed and on fear.
If I had a choice, I wouldn’t be here.
The sun is now set on reflections of man;
The government’s trying as hard as it can.
The temperature’s rising, the water is too;
Take from the many and give to the few.
From those who have less: more will be taken;
Roll out the presses; the economy’s shaken.
Pass a new bill and throttle their voice!
I’d be somewhere else if I had a choice.
