Flight

by Rachelle Estar Zerebeski

As the plane was flying

Over-head,

An explosion was heard

And the engines stopped dead.

People screamed

And, as the plane dropped,

All good reasoning

Simply stopped.

Pictures and memories

Flashed in all;

Fears were remembered

During that 10-second fall

That burnt the plane

And left no survivors,

Killed hearts and souls,

Children, mothers, and fathers,

Forcing friends

Farewell to bid.

It's unknown what went wrong,

But something did.
